vintage queer porn serial - Crash in the Ocean (5)

The novel “Bail Out!” was first released in 1969 in the porn series ‘Black Knight Classics of the homosexual Underground,’ published by the Guild Press in Washington D.C. Air Force captain Larry and corporal Rick are the only survivors from a plane crash and are drifting in a life raft on the ocean. During their days at sea they’ve dispelled the weariness by indulging in a splurge of sexual activities.

Pink Point - Monday, Monday

To The Point - True stories from Pink Point, the gay and lesbian info kiosk at the Homomonument. See

There’s a group of hopeful American tourists standing in front of me at Pink Point. It’s Monday. “We’re leaving for France tomorrow and we’d like to have a fun night out tonight. Where should we go,” they’d asked me, looking full of expectations.

Fetish Fashion - ‘Leather should wrap the body of a handsome guy’

“The screaming queens are crazy about heavy and macho leather jackets and impossibly high boots. When you look at them you think he’s a young submarine commander, but if you’d hand him a gun he’d start to whimper and would probably drop it on his toes. Real men... I don’t think so.” Gerard Reve wrote this on the 29th of January 1974 to a lover, referring to a young Dutch writer who had visited him.

Portfolio - Karim Konrad’s Berlin Gay Mates

When I come across something really surprising amidst the hundredth Bel Ami book, Howard Roffman’s fiftieth twink collection and the umpteenth issue of “XYfoto” with photographs by Sean Bentz in the male photography section of the bookshop, that’s truly a joy. I was given such a joy when I noticed Karim Konrad’s “Berlin Gay Mates.” It’s not a large book, but with 368 pages it’s a fat book. And then to realize that there are even more photographs in it!

Aids Memorial Day - A New Life For Bruno Servaege

The first fifteen years of the epidemic the diagnosis AIDS usually equaled a death sentence. Since the development of the combination therapy however, this has completely changed and many people can live a normal life and even develop new initiatives. As did Bruno Servaege, who founded, with some support, his own company.

Letter from Brussels - Abnormal?

Dear Monseigneur André-Mutien Léonard,

You have again made a monumental fool of yourself last week when you called gays “abnormal” and “people that have encountered a blockage during their psychological development” in the French weekly magazine “Télémoustique.”

Going Out - Bar ‘De Engel van Amsterdam’ Is Ready To Receive!

After several years of decline and closure of well-known premises, Amsterdam seems to get back on its feet. We recently saw the opening of Prik at the Spuistraat and since the 7th of April we’ve gained another place at the infamous Zeedijk: De Engel van Amsterdam (Amsterdam’s Angel). At the day of the opening things looked really good and everything went well (it was a gorgeous day which helped). One of the bar’s main attractions is the terrace.

Beauty - Lancôme Loves Men

Nothing will be more effective in the battle against so-called love handles than a solid number of sit-ups every week. So that’s exactly the training program Biotherm packed in with their bottle of Abdosculpt. Biotherm Homme’s first body gel has a double impact: weight reduction as well as firming the skin. It stimulates the breaking down of fat and tightens the skin. Active ingredients and special acids stimulate the natural peeling of the skin so that caffeine and other substances which help you lose weight can do their work.

Mexican Singer And Heartthrob Christian Chavez Stops Lying

About one and a half years ago I wrote an article for Gay News about Hollywood hunk Garrett Hedlund on the occasion of his then latest movie, “Four Brothers.” Although I only claimed that Hedlund is extremely good-looking and didn’t make any suggestions about his sexual preference, after the publication on our website a discussion flared up about whether Hedlund might be gay or not.

The Gossip Bin

Britney Spears has been elected by the American public as dumbest American of the year. She gathered most of the votes at the annual April Fool’s Day contest of Opinion Research. She beat Michael Jackson who’d been in first position for four years already. The organization stated that shaving off her hair and the reckless way she treats her kids are the reasons for her election. Things seem to go a bit better for the derailed pop princess lately. She attended a Los Angeles Laker’s game recently.

Appeal Filed In Moscow Gay Pride Battle

Organizers of Moscow’s gay pride march have asked the Supreme Court to overturn a ruling upholding the city’s decision last year to ban the march. Film News - François Ozon’s ‘Real Life of Angel Deverell’

We were very curious as to what kind of movie François Ozon was going to produce this time. He usually makes a movie a year and every one is totally different from the other. “Sitcom” was an absurd and dark comedy, “8 Femmes” just filled with French diva actresses, “Les Amants Criminels” a sort of a thriller/horror movie and “Le Temps Qui Reste” a drama on sickness and death (a film he couldn’t have made without the existence of AIDS, François admitted in an interview. Because AIDS nowadays doesn’t necessarily equal to a death sentence anymore, he changed it into some lethal form of cancer for the movie.) And indeed, his new movie “Angel” is again completely different: a costume drama set early last century.
