Until now Dutch people - as well as most other EU citizens - didn’t need a visa for the States; they only needed to fill out a green customs’ form on the plane. From now on the United States’ government wants to know in advance who’s flying in. If you fail to submit your form three days in advance, you risk being denied entrance at the airport of your destination.

In 2005 the homophobe ambulance nurse refused to provide medical assistance to a visitor of the Ceasar Sport Sauna in The Hague. The man later died in hospital. Why the man was only brought before public law at the time is still being investigated. The question is whether the Public Prosecution has considered pressing criminal charges as well, for failing to do his duty with fatal result: manslaughter.
