People stayed home on Thursday evenings for this show and DJs were inspired by Ferry’s music choice in their gigs the following weekend. “It’s full steam ahead with social acceptance of homosexuality in Amsterdam...”

At the assembly of four front-running cities with Minister Plasterk (Emancipation) the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima was evidence of the largest symbolic move towards the beginning of the third phase of gay emancipation: social acceptance of homosexuality.
