Reguliersdwarsstraat effervescent as ever

Amsterdam gay street numero 1, the Reguliersdwarsstraat (I know, honey, unpronouncable; keep up the practice though) is heading in a new direction
That is, if we have to believe the Gay Krant (and who believes them). The street of Coffeeshop Downtown, where lunching brunching queens like to see and be seen, disco The Exit, busy redacorating its latest extension, its very own brand new darkroom, Pub Soho, not just for dozing off in your Chesterfield gazing at all those lined up books but also for partying it up and last but not least bar The April, where "April's Aspen" has meanwhile become a veritable turning point for many a backroom visitor, this gayer than gay street is either in the middle of or getting ready for a major facelift. Downtown, Exit, Soho and April also announced soon a new leaf will spring from this gay tree.
